My family and I stayed in Crete for 10 days, and this fishing trip was the highlight of the entire trip. Our daughter who is 9 year old even asked us to extend an more hour while we were on the boat fishing. The captain and his wife are amazing. They welcomed us homemade Greek food and drinks. They make sure to take pictures from the moment you get on the boat and when you catch the fish. For all of us, it was our first time fishing. They explained it to us and guided us in every step. It was a nervous when we didn't catch a fish at our first stop. But they made sure to move to several different spots to catch more fish. Our daughter was feeling down because she didn't catch one while my husband and I caught couple. I forgot her name but captain's wife helped my daughter to catch one!! She was soooo happy. We caught about 20 fish at the end. Well my husband kept catching the same puffer fish over and over again so it could have been more 🤣🤣🤣 We are back home now. We already want to go back to Crete and we will be doing this tour again with them. We already told some of our friends to check this out. Don't hesitate!! This is the best experience. Thank you so much for everything and your hospitality.

We had a great time out with Manilos fishing. We booked up the 3 hour sunset fishing trip, which was perfect for my 13 year old son and me. All the equipment and guidance was provided, along with snacks and drinks. It was great. Thank you.

Ε� χαριστούμε τον Μανώλη κ την Γιωτα για την άψογη εξ� πηρέτηση κ την βοήθεια στο να ψαρέψο� με όπως επίσης κ για τα νόστιμα καλτσο� νια τα φρέσκα φρο� τα κ αναψ� κτικά! Προτείνω να το δοκιμάσετε όλοι!

Amazing Fishing Trip in Kalives! We had an unforgettable net fishing experience in Kalives with Manolis and Giota! They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, teaching us so much about traditional Greek fishing. We got to swim in the crystal-clear sea, help with the fishing nets, and later cook and enjoy our fresh catch — such a unique and authentic experience! If you’re visiting Crete and looking for a local fishing adventure, this trip is a must-do. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend fishing trip in Kalives!

Authentic Fishing Trip in Chania, Kalyves – An Unforgettable Experience! We had an amazing fishing trip in Kalyves, spending about six wonderful hours by the sea. The day began with a delicious breakfast before we learned about traditional fishing methods using nets. It was fascinating to experience how fishing has been done in Crete for generations. A big thank you to Manolis and Giota for their warm hospitality, knowledge, and for sharing their passion for the sea and local traditions. After catching our fish, we cooked and enjoyed a truly authentic Cretan meal together — fresh, simple, and unforgettable. The weather was beautifully warm, and we even had time to swim in the crystal-clear waters. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and full of laughter. If you’re visiting Crete, this is one of the best activities in Kalyves — perfect for anyone who loves authentic local experiences, seafood, and Greek culture. Highly recommended!
